Quick Fruit Dessert

I love desserts… who doesn’t right? After every meal, I like something sweet. The sad part is when I was young, my body could handle just about anything without piling on as fat. Not anymoreL I hate having to think a 100 times before I can eat things I love. I don’t remember the last time I ate an entire bar of chocolate by myself 😉

This one is delicious and the best part is that you can substitute/ change the toppings with whatever you want. Go ahead, experiment!

This dessert will take no more than 5- 10 minutes. These quick desserts are a curse to mankind as they are so easy and convenient to whip up, that you land up making them every now and then.  Make a promise to yourself to make this dessert only and only to entertain guests and on the weekends and on holidays 😉

What you need

You can substitute with any fruit you want. I just used seasonal fruits keeping in mind the flavors.  Bananas and strawberries work like a charm!

Slice the fruits and pile them into serving bowls.

Beat up cream with sweetened condensed milk until thoroughly mixed. Use condensed milk to suit your taste buds.

I made some amazing butterscotch sauce the next day and used it in place of condensed milk…Sinfully good…imagine diving into a caramel pool with fruits… I will share the butterscotch recipe soon.

Douse sliced fruits in the sweetened cream and lick the spoon 😉

Garnish with nuts and chill in the refrigerator for an hour before serving.

Ingredients

Strawberries 3-4

Chikoo 1

Banana 1

Cream 4-5 tbsp.

Sweetened condensed milk

Pistachios/ Almonds/ Walnuts/ Hazelnuts

Method

Slice the strawberries, chikoo and banana. Arrange them in serving bowls. Whip cream and condensed milk and spoon over sliced fruits. Garnish with chopped nuts and refrigerate for an hour. Serve chilled with sliced fruits for a second helping!
